Hi all. As per our class discussions...

Role Play (lesson time in class - 12th August 2008)

Instructions :

1. Work in your allocated groups (mutual swop is allowed).

2. Dicuss and decide on the role of each group member
Suggestions : EITHER only 1 or 2 out of 6 to act in class
OR each member takes turn to act in different scenes at different intervals
You can choose to act out only a small scene from the story.
You may use costumes and props

3. Time given : 5 to 10 minutes for each group.

4. Mark is given for : Accurate content from the story - 5
Accurate ortrayal of characters - 5
Creativity (dialogues/ props etc) - 5
Teamwork and participation - 5
Total - 20 marks


Grp 1 :
Perkins talking to someone about his encounter with the stranger.

Grp 2:
Perkins telling someone how the stranger affects him.

Grp 3:
How Foxley bullied Perkins (during their younger days).

Grp 4:
How and what Foxley felt about Perkins (then - in their younger days).

Grp 5:
Perkins reaction towards the strager.

Grp 6:
What could/would Perkins have done/treated the stranger (in the train) should the ending be different from the book.
